School-Parent-Student Compact
Nash County Public Schools is committed to providing each student with the tools necessary to successfully meet the challenges they will face in a diverse world. NCPS understands that our families, school staff, and community create the educational environment necessary to accomplish this task. As a result, we have developed this compact to be read, agreed to, and distributed to our entire school family. We ask that you promise to do this by signing and dating the portion of the compact that applies to you.
AS A STUDENT, I PROMISE TO:
It is important that I be successful in school. Therefore, I will do the following:
Attend school regularly and be on time.
Have high expectations for myself.
Have a positive attitude towards self, others, school, and learning.
Know and obey all school and class rules and be respectful to others.
Work as hard as I can on my school assignments.
Ask for help when I need help.
