I hope everyone has had a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving break! Here are some updates and reminders of upcoming events. Our PTO Krispy Kreme Fundraiser ends Wednesday, November 29th. On Thursday, November 30th, we have our Fall retake pictures. If you did not like your child's initial pictures on picture day or if your child was absent from school, your child is able to have their picture taken. Kindergarten parents, please mark your calendar for Tuesday, December 5th. Our kindergarten students are preparing for their first performance. Senora Andrea Villamar, Mrs. Reams, Mrs. Ram, and Mrs. Beamon's class will perform at 6pm. The remaining kindergarten homerooms will perform at 7pm. Our PTO will also present and provide updates at the beginning of each performance.

This is a reminder that Monday, November 20th, our second grade teachers will be hosting a literacy lab starting at 5pm in the cafeteria. Please park in the front circle of the school and come through the cafeteria door. It will be marked. Come get your resources to help your child with word reading fluency (WRF). This is an area that all of our students can benefit extra practice from. Door prizes will be included!! (This is designed specifically for second grade.)

We are SO excited about the Father Figure Dance Glow Party happening tomorrow night, November 17th, from 6:00-8:00pm!
We have food trucks with food from burgers to Jamaican style and carnival sweets as well. There will be a photobooth as well and coloring pages for those who want to take a break from the dance floor. Please remember this is for WAVE students only and their Fathers/Father Figures. We plan to have a special event for the Moms of Wave students in the winter/spring. So Moms, we will get our turn then!
